Big Sky Vacation Rental
Oh summer in Big Sky. Less than an hour to Yellowstone Park and so much more to do....mountain hiking and biking, wold class fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain frisbee golf and more. The views are to die for of mountain ranges and wildflower valleys during the day and star painted skies at night. Memories to last a lifetime and pictures that look like they were painted. Almost no humidity and temperatures peaking in the high 70s to low 80s during the day and always 'sleeping' weather at night. For the summer trip of a lifetime, think Big Sky and the Sioux Lodge.
In winter, we have world class skiing with some of the biggest skiable acreage in the US at 5512 acres - two world class resorts - Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin. Our resorts are known for great beginner and intermediate terrain, and for the hardier souls extreme terrain to give you the rush and 'pow-pow' you are seeking. With virtually no lift lines (even on peak holidays), you will find untracked powder almost every day and beautiful gladed runs that are always protected powder stashes. You just can beat Big Sky in the summer or winter!
The Big Sky Resort is centered around the Big Sky Resort mountain village situated
just below our gorgeous 4 bedroom log accented home. The perfect
location for your ski vacation. In addition
to
the Big Sky resort, the Moonlight Basin resort borders the northern
flank of the Big Sky Resort. Moonlight Basin's location on the Madison
Range's famed Lone Mountain assures more than 400 inches of light,
dry powder snow each year. And the trail network's predominantly
north-facing exposure ensures that snow will stay drier and fluffier
than that found at most other resorts. Most of our guests find that
they can ski different runs each day if they desire with short lift
lines and mountains all to themselves!
The famed Gallatin (made famous in the movie 'A River Runs Through
It') is so close to the Sioux Lodge, you can be fly-fishing in less
than 15 minutes. Big Sky has the rare privilege of close proximity
to
the
world class
Gallatin river, a true blue ribbon
trout stream. And just one valley to the east and west lay two other
world class rivers, the Madison and the Yellowstone. And we are less than 50 miles to the West entrance of the famed Yellowstone Park.
The Sioux Lodge is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home with ski trail access to the Big Sky White Otter lift and amazing mountain views. This house is perfect
for families and for entertaining friends. With 3,200 square feet
of luxury living on two levels, the house includes a first floor
master with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. On the upper level you
will find a stunning great room with expansive windows and views
of Lone Mountain, cozy furniture, and a floor to ceiling fieldstone
fireplace.
On the lower level, you will find 3 bedrooms including a second
master suite; 2 baths; a rec room with satellite TV; a 7-person hot
tub just outside the rec room on our lower level deck; and a special
'kids' room with 2 sets of adult sized bunk beds (doubles over twins.
A crib and high chair also supplied at no additional charge. The
house also has over 900 feet of deck space in five different locations
for privacy and enjoyment during the warmer months and spring like
winter days.
You will find all the comforts of home including a fully stocked
gourmet kitchen with all the tools, a complete spice rack, satellite
TV, a desk for quick office tasks, a 2-car heated, attached.
